Port-Salut is a semisoft, velvety French cheese with a mellow, sweet and savory flavor. Perhaps the first cheese made from pasteurized cow’s milk, Port-Salut originated in the Loire valley, in a trappiest monastery in the Brittany region of France, during the middle of the 19th century.

Great snacking companions of this cheese are fruits, steamed asparagus or broccoli, baby greens salad drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive.

Ingredients: Milk, Milk Proteins, Salt, Lactic Ferments (Milk), Microbial Rennet.

It is suitable for vegetarians but not for vegans since it is a dairy product.
